Member Information

Noonkanbah Aboriginal Corporation (NAC) members consist of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people whose ancestry/lineage traces to the Nyikina or Walmatjarri skin groups, and/or who normally permanently resides in, or within the Noonkanbah Community’s boundaries.

Membership enables you to contribute and participate in decision-making at the Annual General Meetings and attend member events.

A person can become a Noonkanbah Aboriginal Corporation (NAC) Member if:

  • The person is at least 18 years old.
  • The person wants to become a Member and applies using the application form.
  • The person is eligible for membership as defined in the Rule Book.
  • The Directors accept the application to be a Member; and
  • The person’s name is entered on the Register of Members.

The steps for becoming a member are as follows:

  • Complete a membership application form below or in person at the office; 
  • Provide supporting documentation including a birth certificate; and
  • List the apical ancestor you are connected to, which traces to the Nyikina or Walmatjarri skin groups.

This information will then be presented to the NAC Board of Directors for their consideration, and if found acceptable, approval will be granted.
